It's that time of year again… The latest wines made by the team pictured above in the cellars of Magill Estate, Peter Gago in the middle of the group, are released today. And Richard reviews their new (mainly) California quartet at the end of this article.
Treasury Wine Estates, the large company for which Penfolds is the jewel in the crown, will be hoping that the launch of this year’s Penfolds Collection will help plug the massive gap in the company’s balance sheet caused by China’s punitive tariffs on Australian wine imports.
